At Swiss Plasma Polishing, we enhance plasma electrolytic polishing with a jet (PEP-Jet) to overcome the limitations of traditional polishing methods. Our efficient PEP-Jet technology achieves lower surface roughness and better corrosion resistance in less time.
We can polish 3D printed parts without any pretreatment to medical standards. Thanks to our plasma process, no precleaning is necessary. Local jet polishing enables the creation of different surface finishes on a single workpiece, allowing for polishing only where required.

Our PEP and PEP-Jet technology brings a variety of advantages over conventional polishing techniques:
Efficient Polishing
With PEP and PEP-Jet, we can polish 3D-printed surfaces down to Ra 0.2µm and conventionally manufactured pieces to Ra 0.02µm for most common metals.
Local Polishing
The jet allows polishing a part only where it is required. This saves time and energy. And it is possible to achieve different finishings on one surface.
No Thermal Impact
Plasma polishing causes no thermal and no mechanical stress on the parts.
