Large surfaces
With PEP-Jet we polish large areas that are not possible in electrochemical or plasma electrolytic baths.
Plasma polishing
We are doing polishing differently. Our tool is a plasma and we master every aspect of it.
The technology
Plasma polishing is a revolutionary technology for achieving best surface roughness and high-gloss surfaces. Save time, energy and money by achieving lower roughness in one environmentally friendly step. Here is how it works, and the value it brings to your products.
The approach
Today, polishing requires multiple steps to achieve the desired surface roughness. It involves manual polishing and electrochemical polishing, which uses harsh, toxic acids that are harmful to people and the environment. Plasma polishing takes a much cleaner, smarter approach.
Bath process
During Plasma Electrolytic Polishing, the metal part is submerged in an environmentally friendly, water-based salt solution and connected to an electrical power source. This creates a thin-layer plasma around the entire surface of the part. This plasma removes all peaks and imperfections on the surface, resulting in a smooth, polished surface. We use it for simple geometry standalone or in batches.
Jet process
Taking this a step further is Jet Plasma Polishing. Instead of submerging the part in a bath, a specialised nozzle sprays a jet directly onto the specific area that needs finishing. We control the jet and plasma polish exactly where we want. This allows us to polish complex parts and cavities as well as critical areas. Combining both bath and jet, we offer the perfect all-round solution.

Our services
From large surfaces to inner contours, on conventional and 3D printed parts in stainless steel, cobalt chrome, titanium, copper, brass and more.
With PEP-Jet we polish large areas that are not possible in electrochemical or plasma electrolytic baths.
The plasma jet precisely polishes targeted areas, keeping geometries and corners sharp. With a wide range of nozzles, spot sizes go from under 1 mm for fine detail work up to 30 mm for fast, large-area processing.
With the jet and selective polishing we reach areas that mechanical methods and electropolishing cannot.
With PEP we polish rough printed surfaces directly to a fine finish, with no precleaning or preprocessing.
